"Why worry about a paper thin undetectable scar when the whole point of hair restoration
is that you'll never have to shave your head again?"

When some people get a different kind of procedure such as FUE, the procedure leaves polka dot scars all throughout the entire donor area. This compromises the donor for future procedures by producing scarring on the surface and beneath the surface of the skin (FUE almost always requires more than one surgery).
With Dr. Bolton's MaxHarvest technique and special suture procedure, the scar is as thin as a paper's edge which preserves the surrounding area for maximum harvesting in the future (although with Dr. Bolton's MaxHarvest you may not NEED a second procedure).
FUE only yields a small number of hairs per procedure. Dr. Bolton's MaxHarvest procedure yields anywhere from 6,000 to 8,000 hairs in one procedure. As far as our patients are concerned, they'd rather have one paper thin undetectable 'scar' with lots of hair then the wispy alternative.
Josh got a BOTCHED scar at another well know South Florida clinic! Watch his video to see how Dr. Bolton not only did a scar revision but also did an amazing hair restoration procedure that made Josh a new man!
A proper suture technique can prevent unsightly scaring so the patient doesn't have to live with a large scar.
