Dr. Bolton and the staff at Great Hair Transplants are THE BEST!. (Shout Out to Michael because if it wasn’t for him I probably wouldn’t have had decided on having the surgery with Dr. Bolton) It has been just over a year since my treatment and I could not be more pleased with the results. Just had the procedure done over a week ago and the entire experience was quick and smooth. I told Dr. Bolton that it was easier than going to the dentist because it truly was. Before I knew it the hours had gone by and I was done with the procedure. Truly excited to see what my final results will look like. It is with pleasure that I write this review for Dr. Bolton and his patient advisor Josh Engoren. It has been one year since my procedure, and I am extremely happy and impressed with the results. I am very pleased that I ultimately chose Dr. Bolton as my doctor for my hair transplant, and I was lucky that Josh was that person that helped me in the process.
Before choosing Dr. Bolton for my hair transplant, I carefully and thoroughly researched my options, and my conclusion was that Dr. Bolton was the best option. Dr. Bolton’s has more experience and greater expertise in the field than most, and Dr. Bolton’s “max-harvest” technique/procedure is unique and it really works. The results that you can achieve in only one procedure are simply amazing. I am living proof of that. People travel from other states and even for other countries to have the procedure with Dr. Bolton, and for good reason. In my personal case, it seems that all the hair that Dr. Bolton transplanted grew out completely, he improved my hairline, there are no scars in the transplanted area, and the donor area is completely invisible. My friends and family are also very impressed with the results of my procedure, and they told me that Dr. Bolton’s work is probably the best they have ever seen. I have recommended Dr. Bolton to several people, and I will confidently continue to do so. I am extremely happy with the results, and I feel happy and rejuvenated, to the point that I am now getting a second procedure to obtain even more density and to take this to the next level.
In sum, I believe that Dr Bolton is the best in the market, and Dr. Bolton’s team/staff is also fantastic. In my case, Josh was the one who served as Patient Advisor; Josh is very professional, very efficient, and very nice, and he is always available. He made me feel very secure and he was very helpful, before, during, and after the procedure. He is the best.

I don't have enough donor hairs to do a complete job. I wear a realistic looking human hairpiece so I opted to fill in the area above the forehead since the hairline is always the most conspicuous area of the head. The job was done on February 26, 2020 just before the pandemic hit. Dr. Bolton's assistant, Josh, has a guest house next door to his home so I opted to rent that space for a few days. Josh even gave me a lift to and from the clinic (only minutes away). Dr. Bolton is a jovial, friendly guy who made me feel at home. The operation was done in a few hours (I fell asleep !) there was another doctor, his son and Dr. Bolton all working on me. Josh provided a hot homemade dinner for me at the guest house and I just chilled that evening. The next afternoon I drove back to Illinois. The results were excellent. The thickness is just right for the hairline area and it gradually thickens toward the back. The hairpiece blends in perfectly and is undetectable now. I am 200% satisfied ! The stitches were removed locally.

There is no doubt that the doctor makes the difference when it comes to hair transplants. Dr. Bolton is a master of his craft and delivers fantastic results. It has been exactly one year since my procedure. I'm so pleased that I ultimately chose Dr. Bolton as my doctor. I've been experiencing hair loss since I was 19 years old, and I have used Minoxidil ever since then. Now, several decades later, the extent of my hair-loss has progressed and prevented me from maintaining my customary hair style. In other words, I did not feel like myself any longer. My personal standards are very high, so I thoroughly researched my options. I recognized that Dr. Bolton does fine, detailed work that includes the transplantation of singular follicular units and requires technical and artistic talent. What further impressed me was Dr. Bolton's work with burn patients. The results Dr. Bolton's patients achieved were natural and robust. I was so inspired by his patient's stories that I flew out from California to have Dr. Bolton perform my own FUT procedure. During our initial consultation, Dr. Bolton spent considerable time with me to design a new hairline that was exactly what I wanted. He also informed me that I may need a second procedure in order to ultimately achieve the density I want. Many doctors won't transplant hair to the temple peaks. (That is the hair on the side of your head) Dr. Bolton fortified my temple peaks, then created a strong hairline that was uniquely suited to the shape of my head. He completely rejuvenated my hairline back to where it was during my 20's. Dr. Bolton's manager arranged for me to stay in a recovery room during the first few days while the grafts began to heal. The fact that I had someone right there made me feel very secure. I was shepherded through the process of recovery while I was well cared for, and I well fed. We achieved the best result possible with one max-harvest procedure. I've come to recognize that Dr. Bolton did more work on me than I first realized. He transplanted back into my existing hairline, and it appears that all the hair he transplanted grew out completely. The new transplanted hair supports the way my existing hair falls and frames my face. No one has noticed that I've had substantial work done. People just tell me that I look really good. People did not notice the change because the transplanted hair grew in gradually over the first few months after the procedure. There are no scars in the transplanted area and the donor area is completely healed with a hairline scar that is almost completely invisible. My high-end barber has other clients with transplants. He told me that the job Dr. Bolton performed on me was the best he has ever seen. I want to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Bolton and his entire staff for the care they showed me during and after this procedure.

I had a max harvest plus procedure with Dr. Bolton about 10 months ago and my results are already amazing! (Still have 8 months to go!) I elected to try to get as much hair as possible that he felt safely pulling from my scalp was told about 13,000 hairs. It’s a huge difference then before I was balding very lil hair now I have a lot of curly hair like I’m 10 years younger! And my barber even has trouble finding the scar which is not the case with most drs. I get a 3 on the sides to be safe but could prob get a 2 at this point. My parents were over for Mother’s Day and my step dad said “look at all that hair it’s “unbelievable” My brother and barber jokingly call me “Harry styles” lol. I live in South Florida started losing my hair about 8 years ago, and I did extensive research and wanted to get an FUT procedure by the best doctor I could find. I actually was going to go with Dr Huebner, who is also located in Fort Lauderdale but he wanted to charge me more than Dr Bolton. I luckily mentioned to a friend of mine and he mentioned to his friend who had procedures with both and actually recommended Bolton because he has more experience (20 plus years) and actually taught Huebner. I looked up video after video including Amins video where he shows the whole procedure beginning to end and saw so many great results.
